Rose Lane

Rose Lane is a complex of five houses within a secure gated development on a suburban street. It is situated within easy walking distance of the I M Marsh Campus, alongside shops, bars and amenities and opposite a train station with regular connections to the city-centre. There are a total of around 30 bedrooms at Rose Lane and LJMU typically reserves around 2/3 of the rooms for new students each year. Each house contains between 6 and 8 bedrooms and has either 2 or 3 bathrooms, shared between the residents. Standard bedrooms at Rose Lane cost £79 per week in academic year 2012/13 and each house contains up to two slightly larger bedrooms with a larger bed at £83 per week. Rose Lane is reserved for new postgraduate students based at I M Marsh who live more than 30 minutes driving time from the Campus, and it is particularly popular with new students undertaking PGCE programmes.
