Accommodation at LJMU
Welcome to the website of the Liverpool John Moores University Accommodation Office. LJMU guarantees all new students a bedroom in high quality, city-centre accommodation.
CLEARING UPDATE (as at Wednesday, 1 September 2010)
There are enough bedrooms available for all new LJMU students who require accommodation. However following very heavy demand in the past few days, most sites are now full and availability is now extremely limited. We are unable to guarantee en-suite accommodation to students who have not yet been allocated a bedroom. Details of the available accommodation can be found on this webpage, which will be updated regularly.
UK and EU students should call the Accommodation Office on 0151 231 3047 as a matter of urgency to book a room once they have been offered and accepted a place on a programme at LJMU. Please note that no online requests will be accepted from UK or EU students.
When you call the Office, a member of our team will take your details and offer you at least one accommodation option. The staff of the Office can also answer any questions you may have about the accommodation, about arriving at LJMU or about Liverpool in general.
If you have already called the Office and verbally accepted a room in our accommodation, tenancy documents and payment information will be dispatched by your chosen site as soon as possible. Please do not call the Office again to check on progress as this will only slow down the process. Students from outside the EU should complete the online request form and they will be contacted by the Accommodation Office by Email regarding availability.

Accommodation for students commencing in September 2011
Students intending to join LJMU for the first time in academic year 2011/12 should consult the 2011 Accommodation Guide which is available here to download in the PDF format. Please note that the information about rents and other contractual details in the Guide relate to the forthcoming year (2010/11) and are intended for guidance only. Information on rents for academic year 2011/12 will be available on this website in late October 2010.
