Great Newton Hall

* GREAT NEWTON HALL IS NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR SEPTEMBER 2011 AND NO FURTHER BOOKINGS CAN BE TAKEN *
Location
Great Newton Hall is situated close to Lime Street station and the popular London Road shopping area. It is suitable for students based at either of LJMU's two city centre campuses, although relatively few students from the City Campus have chosen to live there in the past because there are several more convenient options.
It is also recommended for students based at the I M Marsh Campus because the location is close to public transport links to that campus. I M Marsh based students can request to share their flat at Great Newton Hall with other studentrs from their campus.
The location of Great Newton Hall within the city centre can be seen on this webpage.
Facilities
Great Newton Hall has around 300 bedrooms organised into flats of between 4 and 5 bedrooms each and all bedrooms feature a private en-suite bathroom. Residents have the option of using the gym and swimming pool at nearby Opal Court, for which an additional charge is payable.
Great Newton Hall is completely smoke free and students are not allowed to smoke anywhere on the site.
Costs
In academic year 2011/12 a standard bedroom with an en-suite bathroom at Great Newton Hall will cost £95.50 per week. All rooms are let on a standard 42 week contract, making the annual cost of a bedroom £4,011. Rents include all utility costs, basic contents insurance and a broadband connection in each bedroom.
