The 2010 UK Alumni Gala Dinners will take place in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu during March. The British Council China is pleased to invite you to join us for this fun-filled alumni event. Please find below the provisional dates and venues:
• Beijing: 13 March 2010, Venue to be confirmed
• Shanghai: 20 March Saturday 2010, Venue to be confirmed
• Guangzhou: 28 March Sunday 2010, Shangri-la Hotel, Guangzhou
• Chengdu: 28 March Sunday 2010, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Chengdu
The Alumni UK Gala Dinner will kick-off many exciting events for UK alumni in 2010 which will include professional development workshops, conferences as well as social gatherings and networking events. It is an opportunity to meet and network with a blend of important and interesting people from various sectors.
The British Council are expecting hundreds of returned UK alumni as well as representatives from UK institutions and key figures from UK related organisations around China. Come along to this elegant banquet dinner with music and entertainment, and be prepared for a distinctly UK experience packed with exciting surprises.
Provisional programme:
1800 – 1900 Registration and drink reception
1900 – 1915 Opening and welcome speech
1915 – 2200 Western dinner, lucky draw, charity auction and network
