LJMU Contributes To GEC
As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2012 events, LJMU's Centre for Entrepreneurship hosted a special breakfast event, bringing business leaders together with graduate entrepreneurs to debate how we can build entrepreneurship in Liverpool.
With a panel debate led by BBC Radio Merseyside's Roger Phillips, the breakfast proved to be a great start to the GEC summit.
The panel included Paul Corcoran – Owner, Agent Marketing Ltd, Dr Nichola McCrystal – Scientific Director, Bioclinics Ltd, Talia and Kayleigh Baccino, Director, Trendy Vend Ltd, Owen Cotterell, owner of Mocha Ltd and Professor Michael Parkinson, Director of LJMU’s European Institute for Urban Affairs.
The event allowed successful LJMU graduates to showcase their entrepreneurial successes and expertise, many of which are featured in Mocha's video which was shown during the breakfast.
The video, entitled, Entrepreneurship, the City and the Next Generation, can be viewed here.
