Professor Michael Pitt sits on several BIFM committees. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Editorial

Editor of the Journal of Facilities Management (Emerald Publications). One of the two leading academic journals in the area of FM, the Journal of Facilities Management publishes research papers of the highest quality and practice papers (in a separate section). The aim of the journal is to act as a conduit for research dissemination into industry. The journal underpins the work of the FM Research Group at JMU.

Editor of the Journal of Leisure and Retail Property (Palgrave MacMillan), a leading journal in lesiure and retail property management and investment.
