Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Unit

Welcome to the KTP Unit for the Faculty of Business and Law

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships have become one of the UK's premier programme for transferring technology, skills and know-how from universities to industry.  They are Government funded and enable businesses to benefit from the expertise available in the 'Knowledge Base' - Universities.

There is expertise in the UK's Universities and Colleges that can be of value to businesses in developing new products, services and processes.  Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are thus designed to help companies access this expertise.

Over the last five years, the KTP Unit at the LJMU Faculty of Business and Law has successfully managed 23 KTP programmes with companies throughout the North West. A high proportion of these programmes have been graded 'excellent' by the DTI.  If your company is interested in being involved in a KTP programme with the Faculty of Business and Law then please contact Amanda St John on tel 0151 231 3452 or email A.N.St.John@ljmu.ac.ukIf you would like to begin a KTP that is not connected to either business or law then please contact Susan Suttle, KTP Manager on 0151 231 8056 or at S.E.Suttle@ljmu.ac.uk
