Projects
CHaSCI members are involved in a number of projects with an Informatics theme. These range from R & D, Learning and Teaching through Technology to developing bespoke solutions for a range of clients. Some example of projects are listed and available from the menu on the left.
The example projects demonstrate multidisciplinary collaborations involving academics from a range of disciplines in faculties across the university, for example;
- Faculty of Technology and Environment
- Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences
- Faculty of Biological and Earth Sciences
As outlined previously, the three faculties collaborate on research projects with an NHS slant, focussing on;
- Joint applications for funding, under both, banner of CHaSCI and School affiliation.
- Joint supervision of postgraduates.
- Development of shared teaching and learning modules.
- Interfacing with NHS, specifically with the e-learning strategy and the overall
- IM&T agenda.
