As a subject mentor for undergraduate and/or postgraduate trainee teachers from Liverpool John Moores University, you may be aware that we ask subject mentors to get involved in the interview process for potential trainees. We are therefore asking if it would be possible for you or your colleagues to attend an interview day(s) in order to continue this vital partnership process.
We're sure you will understand that it is quite a challenge to select the best candidates from an ever increasing pool of applicants; as a mentor we would value your input at interview level. Over the years, we have reflected on our methods of interviewing and it is due to the input of the subject mentors that we are currently operating with the system we currently have.
We would be grateful that if you are interested in attending you could complete the proforma, and we will contact you with details of our interview dates for 2010 entry.
