Liverpool Maritime Academy
The Liverpool Maritime Academy provides a complete range of professional training, degree courses and research to the maritime sector. The Academy offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level including Port Management, Maritime Business and Management, Logistics, Safety and Security and Nautical Science. The Academy's ship-handling simulator facility is amongst the most advanced in Europe and currently the only one in the UK with a full 360° field-of-view. It is able to provide world class training and development to train: marine pilots, shipmasters and senior navigating officers within a realistic but risk free environment.The facility can also be used to assess the feasibility of new port developments, to investigate offshore operations in the oil and gas industry, and in accident investigation. The Liverpool Maritime Academy is able to develop bespoke packages of accredited training and development and to include clients with full English language support where required.
