Research

      The School of Engineering, Technology and Maritime Operations is one of the most research active academic departments in the University and has established an excellent record of high quality application oriented research and knowledge transfer to business.  The School is home to two internationally recognised research groups Electrical Electronic Engineering Research Centre led by Prof J Zhang, Prof E. Levi and  the Liverpool Logistics Offshore and Marine Research Institute led by Prof J. Wang. The Insitute supports research groups in materials and structural engineering led by Prof J Ren and  Prof I Jones and contol led by Pro D. Yu.
