Staff Information
As Skills Support Officers, we are not just here to support students, we are the Faculty resource to support the implementation of WoW – this means supporting you. We have put together a collection of resources we hope you will find useful. If you feel there is anything else we can do to support you, or any other resources you would like to see here, please feel free to contact us and let us know – see contact information.
Graduate Skills – the eight skill areas and the break down to 41 individual skills. Mapping on SIS and module templates is done at a skill area level, but we still use the individual skills for feedback to help students apply the skills in context.
Faculty Policy – agreed in June 2008 giving guidance on all issues relating to WoW.
Skills Support in Science – an information leaflet we have used with students that gives information about Graduate Skills.
PDP and WoWLogs Staff Resource – some information about WoWLogs, explaining what they are and how they can be used to support PDP practices and encourage students to engage with us.
Faculty Overview of WoW – a simple diagram summarising the WoW Programme, including Graduate Skills, Work Related Learning and World of Work Skills.
Overview of WoW – produced by the LDU to give an overview of how everything in the WoW initiative links together.
CRB – a PowerPoint resource with basic information for students.
