Academic Gown Hire
Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions and you are required to wear the academic dress of the University with your own appropriate formal attire.
If you contact Ede & Ravenscroft via telephone, please make sure you address the ceremony as LJMU as they do not recognise Kaplan and Holborn ceremony as a title.
The LJMU gowns and mortar boards are dark blue (except for PhD awards which are scarlet). Hoods are lined in grey or blue silk embossed with the University coat of arms. For further information and to order your gown, please click here
