About the LPC
What is the Legal Practice Course?
The Legal Practice Course is the qualifying, vocational course for all Solicitors. The LPC has been designed to meet the requirements and needs of the Legal Profession of the Twenty First Century. The course aims to produce a highly skilled, commercially aware and effective Trainee Solicitor, who is prepared for the rigours and demands of a Training Contract. The LPC at Liverpool John Moores University is a comprehensive programme that fully prepares you for practice. We strongly believe in open access to our course, and our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and regions.

Drafting:
To pass Stage 2 of the LPC course students must pass three elective subjects. At LJMU we offer a choice of 9 elective subjects, intended to offer a broad selection that will appeal to students aiming for a career in many different types of practice
