Part-Time Students
We look normally for similar qualifications but candidates with relevant experience, vocational achievements, technical competence or success in business are welcome to apply. All part-time applicants are interviewed.
Part-Time applicants please contact Carmel Flanagan direct in any of the ways shown on the right-hand side of this page.
Interviews
Non-standard applicants are interviewed - Mature and/or Access canidates for example - and all applicants for the part-time course. School-leavers applying through UCAS are not normally interviewed.
The Personal Statement
It should be concise and to the point. We want to see a systematic approach behind it and something which shows you have organisational ability. It must explain why you want to do the course (and why at LJMU), show you've done some research into it and what career possibilities you think the course will open up to you. Any work experience or contact with the legal system will serve your application well, as will any unique achievements that you have managed.

LJMU Applicant Days and Open Days
LJMU has a number of Applicant Days (for those who have already applied to LJMU) and Open Days for prospective candidates. We're always around at these events and you're welcome to talk to us there.
