Organisational Role and Responsibilities
Peter is a Senior Lecturer in Law on the Legal Practice Course. He is subject leader for Business Law and Practice, and is involved in teaching the General Commercial elective. He is part of the teaching team for Tax, Interviewing and Advocacy.
External Roles
Peter is a managing partner in EEI solicitors and a director of the social enterprise Elect Limited. He also owns Rash Records a not for profit records label and music promotions company.
Biography
Peter is a graduate of the Legal Practice Course here at LJMU following a long career in the public sector; he completed his solicitor training in local private practice developing expertise in general commercial law and litigation. Peter was instrumental in setting up and managing RAISE, the first “Commercial Law Centre.” The Centre specialised in advising women entrepreneurs as well as providing advice and assistance to local businesses through the Social Enterprise Network. Peter continues to be involved in the legal profession in a more formal way via his Partnership in EEI solicitors.
