Organisational Role and Responsibilities
Diane is a Senior Law Lecturer on the Legal Practice Course. She is the subject leader for Property Law and Practice, Solicitors Accounts and Private Client. She is part of the teaching team for Business Accounts, Wills & Administration and Family and is Senior Pastoral Tutor. She also teaches Equity and Trusts on the LLB and on the GDL.
External Roles
Diane has a link with for a local firm of solicitors and spends several weeks each year in practice. She is lead external examiner to the Legal Practice Course at Staffordshire University and is also external examiner to the Legal Practice Course at the University of West of England.
Biography
Diane has been working in private practice since qualifying in the 1980s, specialising in conveyancing, wills and probate work. Diane had taught as a sessional tutor on the LLB programme at Liverpool University and had spent several years teaching Part 1 ILEX Practice prior to taking up her post at LJMU. Diane joined the teaching team in the early days of the LPC here in January 1995 as a subject leader.
