Teaching -
Dr Anthony (Tony) Harvey is module leader for Obligations B and also teaches on Obligations A, Independent Learning in Law, Foundations and Company Law on the LLB degree.
As part of the LLM team, Dr Harvey is module leader for Corporate Governance and also teaches on the Commercial Contracts option.
Administrative -
Tony is the LLM Programme Leader, LL.B Examinations Officer and is member of the University Academic Appeals Committee.
External Roles -
Anthony, a practising Solicitor, is a former Editor of the Liverpool Law Review and now sits on the Editorial Board. He is a non-executive member of the Board of Management of the Eldonian Community Housing Association and also sits on the Ethics Committee of the Liverpool Womens’ Hospital and the General Committee of the Liverpool Law Society. He is Director of Training and Risk Management at top 100 law firm Brabners Chaffe Street LLP and a member of the Merseyside Common Purpose Forum. He is chairman and part-owner of the city’s trendiest hotel and restaurant, the London Carriage Works in the Hope Street Hotel.
Research Interests -
Anthony's research interests are in the fields of Obligations and Company law (Corporate Governance) and Medical Ethics. He has published and presented many academic and professional papers in these fields.
