Bahrain
The sixth DBA workshop was held in Bahrain between 24-27 Feb 2010. The session which dealt with methodology and data collection methods was facilitated by Dr Ian Lovegrove and Dr Karim Menacere.
Only one of the students missed the session because he was on his honeymoon – Many congratulations to Fahad!

DBA Workshop - November 2009
Mahama, Bahrain
The first workshop of Stage 2 of the first DBA Bahrain Cohort was held between 4 -7 November. The workshop was facilitated by Dr David Bryde and Dr Ian Lovergrove from Liverpool Business School.
The workshop was attended by all 13 members of the student cohort.

DBA Workshop - May 2009
Radisson Diplomat Conference Centre, Bahrain
The 4th session of the DBA (Bahrain Cohort) took place between 6-9 May 2009. The workshop, which marked the end of the first year of the programme, was delivered by Yusra Mouzughi (Programme Leader) and Ken Purnell (Head of External Affairs) at the Radisson Diplomat Conference Centre, Bahrain.
The group was delighted to receive a visit from the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulmohsen Fahd Al Mareck, who is very much interested in the DBA programme and keen to see the format of the workshops.
A promotional event for prospective students was also held on the evening of 7 May. Several current students attended the event to share their experiences of studying for the DBA. The prospective students found this useful as it allowed them to gain a real feel for the programme and what it entails.

The first session of the DBA programme (Bahrain Cohort) was held in June 2008. onclick="if (confirm('Do you want to view the following page in a new window?')){this.target='_blank';}return true">Dr Ann Thorne (Programme Director), onclick="if (confirm('Do you want to view the following page in a new window?')){this.target='_blank';}return true">Dr David Bryde (Head of Doctoral Programmes) and Dr Yusra Mouzughi (Programme Leader) delivered the session over 4 days at the Crowne Plaza Convention Centre, Manama, Bahrain. Participants from Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait, as well as Bahrain, attended the session.
