LJMUTV is the name for all of LJMU's original rich media content on the web - this audio and video content is available in streaming and downloadable formats.

What is YouTube?
YouTube is a websiste that LJMU uses to host a mixture of educational and promotional material. You can access our videos via our website at http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/ljmutv/youtube or via the LJMUTV YouTube channel at: http://youtube.com/ljmutv
What is iTunes U?
iTunes U is an area of Apple's iTunes Store.
LJMU now has a website on Apple's iTune U that offers educational downloads to people around the world for free.
Do I need an Apple device to access or play iTunes U content?
No. Any device that can play open-standards media formats, such as MP3 audio and MP4 video, can play back iTunes U content.
Do I need iTunes software to download content?
No. The content is designed to be accessible to users on all platforms and devices.
We have created an area on our website where you can browse, consume and download content as you would be able to if you were using iTunes software: http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/ljmutv/itunesu
You can also use iTunes software to access and playback content. This may be the preferred option if you are using a Mac or Apple device.
How do I download iTunes U content?
You have a number of options to access our podcasts in order to download content:
- Through the iTunes U area of our website: http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/ljmutv/itunesu
- Using the iTunes application on your Mac or PC (this is unavailable to PC users on the LJMU Computer Network)
- Subscribe to our podcast feeds using the software of your choice - or via an online service such as Google Reader
- Using the iTunes U App now available for Apple mobile devices
