Staff Profiles Page
The English department currently has eleven staff members, with a range of research and teaching expertise from the seventeenth century to the present day. They work closely in research and research supervision with colleagues in the Writing department, and elsewhere in the School and Faculty.
The department has been successful in securing individual and project research grants from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, as well as awards under the Higher Education Funding Council for England Promising Researcher Scheme.
All staff take part in supervision of research students, and contribute to the development of the Centre's research profile.
