Welcome to the Virtual Alps website. This site is designed to be a learning resource for undergraduare students studying Alpine glacial and fluvial processes. It contains maps, photographs, video clips, panorama movies, a Google Earth tour, diagrams, exercises, worksheets and revision quizzes to enable students to experience glacial and fluvial fieldwork in the Alps and other mountainous areas.
