Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Brown said: “We were very sorry to lose Vincent after a difficult illness. He will be greatly missed as both an esteemed colleague and a true personality. We were delighted to see him at the graduation dinner which he attended despite his illness, demonstrating a determination to succeed for which he was renowned. He was a great supporter of the University and he will always be thought of fondly.”
