Manchester Pride Parade

This year, for the first time, the LGBT group at LJMU are taking part in the Manchester Pride Parade.
A carnival atmosphere will fill the streets of Manchester during the Parade which is set to enthral the thousands of spectators - young and old, gay and straight, friends and family. This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate LJMU’s diverse, inclusive, vibrant and colourful atmosphere.
The parade theme for this year is 'heroes'. Whether superheroes, personal heroes, real life historical heroes or just donning a sweet wrapper, it's all about what the word means to you. Free LJMU t-shirts are also available.
