Sport Scholar represents England

LJMU Sport Scholar and Sport Science student Rob O’Donnell (pictured left) travelled to the Far East to play in a host of games on the English Counties Rugby Union tour.

The English counties team represented their country well and highlights include victories against East Japan (31-67) and Yamaha Jubilo 20-36.

Rob enjoyed the tour and commented: “It has been a great experience to play against different styles of teams and to experience the different cultures off the pitch”. He found this a useful warm-up to his pre-season at Sale Sharks RUFC.
