Leadership programme

10 September 2009

Staff are invited to attend LJMU's management and leadership skills programme.

  • Are you a member of staff in a management role?
  • Never had any formal development as a leader but have gained a wealth of management experience?
  • Are you looking to share your management and leadership experiences with others as well as drawing from others' knowledge and insights?
  • Do you want to refresh your skills and knowledge about leadership and apply it in your practice?

Then the LJMU Leadership Programme is for you.

This flexible programme gives you a chance to develop your knowledge and skills through personal reflection, and emotional intelligence through the use of analysis tools such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. It allows you to share with a network of managers and leaders experiences and knowledge, problem solve real leadership issues through action learning and attain a formal Leadership qualification if desired (the ILM Level 5 Award or Certificate in Leadership).

The programme focuses on the needs of the group and commences with an induction on 23 September 2009 at 9.30am at the Centre for Staff Development.

For more information, contact the Centre for Staff Development on ext 5550 or email staffdevelopment@ljmu.ac.uk
