Mature Students Networking Event

The Liverpool Student Union (LSU) and LJMU’s Student Recruitment team have organised a Mature Students Networking Event to be held at the LSU, Haigh Building, Maryland Street, on 29 September 2009, taking place between 4.40pm and 7pm.
The event is designed to promote the LSU to mature students and to promote the wide range of support services and opportunities we offer at LJMU.
Programme
4.40pm - 5pm: registration and refreshments – tea / coffee / wine / snacks
5pm: introduction and welcome – Sian Tudor and Lily Rumsey (LSU)
5.15pm: Lynne Condell (LJMU Student Services / Welfare)
5.30pm: Steve Burbage (LJMU Graduate Development Centre / WoW)
5.50pm: Leigh O’Mahony (LJMU undergraduate)
6pm: Suzanne Smith and Michelle Macdonnell (Skills Support Officers)
6.15pm: buffet dinner
6.30pm: networking / group discussion in faculty groups
7pm: live entertainment
No pre-booking is required, students are welcome to just turn up on the day.
