NHS appointment

Judith Guthrie, Senior Lecturer in Palliative Care at LJMU, has been reappointed to serve as a Non-Executive Director of 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust.
First appointed to the trust in 2006, Judith will now serve from December 1 2009 to November 30 2010.
Judith first qualified as a nurse in 1976 in Bolton, and has over 20 years service with the NHS. Judith is committed to the Trust's Education Centre and its work to enable their users and carers to develop and learn. She has been involved with the voluntary sector in Warrington since 1985, being a previous Director of Nursing with St Roccos Hospice and is a Trustee of Warrington Carers’ Centre (Princess Royal Trust).
Bernard Pilkington, Trust Chairman, said: “It’s great that Judith has been re-appointed. She is a real asset to the Board of Directors and to the Trust as a whole.”
