World of Work presentation for students.
Did you know the NHS is the largest employer in Europe, employing approximately 1.3 million people - from nurses to accountants and property managers to scientists?
If you would like to find out more, the Graduate Development Centre has arranged for Dean Royles, Executive Director of Workforce & Education of the NHS in the North West, to deliver a presentation followed by a Q&A session on ‘Recruiting a World Class Workforce - Challenges and Opportunities in the NHS’.
The presentation will cover the following:
- The diversity of opportunities available
- What it is like to work for the NHS
- How the NHS supports its workforce
· What employability skills NHS looks for in recruits
The event will take place from 2pm – 3pm on Thursday 8 October in the Large Lecture Theatre, Henry Cotton Building.
