Glass recycling

From Monday 9 November external wheelie bins will be provided in the waste and recycling areas of the buildings for the recycling of household glass.

Staff can place household glass bottles and jars in the bins provide for glass recycling. All bottles and jars must be washed and clean to prevent any fly or insect infestation. Laboratories and technical areas will not be affected, their systems for glass removal will remain the same.
 
The following sites will be provided with this facility:

IM Marsh student accommodation, IM Marsh administration Barkhill, IM Marsh Holmefield House, Dean Walters, 68 Hope Street, JH Makin, John Foster building, Art & Design Academy, Rodney Street, JMU Tower, Byrom Street, Tithebarn Street, Henry Cotton, Kingsway House and Castle House.
