Work experience volunteers needed

Volunteering are looking for members of staff or a team committed to the development and valuable work experience for young people.
With the support of Liverpool Compact, LJMU are offering pupils from St John Bosco High School the opportunity to work at various departments around the University between the dates of 18 January and 22 January 2010.
Those who would like to work with young people should be competent in their role and at ease with offering support. Young people may lack confidence in a working environment and reassurance and guidance is needed.
Getting involved with work experience placements may also offer staff the opportunity for personal and professional development, offering staff with little management experience the opportunity to manage a young person’s work load for a short period.
