Student records demonstration

As the University is committed to going live with the new student system from September 2010 it is important for all staff, administrative and academic, to hear about the project, see the system and understand how it can help to transform the LJMU student experience.

The project started in September this year with a set of business requirements workshops to a group of experienced administrative and academic staff.  Based upon a demo database, they have helped to inform how the system should be configured for this first stage of the project.  The project team is now planning to demonstrate the system using LJMU data, explain the decisions made and reasons for them but also collect any outstanding requirements.  The roadshow therefore will mark the end of the business requirements stage of the project.  By attending one of the events you have an opportunity to help determine the way in which LJMU wants the student records system to work.

Please go along to a session convenient for you – the team have tried to vary the time of day and the location for each event to maximise the opportunities for staff to attend.  Even if you can't attend for the full session you are encourage to attend for part.
