Student complaints procedure

Guidance and briefing sessions on the revised student complaints procedure and the formal investigation process are scheduled for all staff who may deal with student complaints or for anyone who requires further information on the new procedure.

The LJMU student omplaints procedure has been reviewed as part of the SPR programme of review of policy and procedures; to ensure that the procedure is fit for purpose and meets internal and external standards.

The revised procedure emphasises local resolution at an early stage, with students encouraged to seek ‘informal’ resolution at the source of their complaint i.e. within the faculty, school, service team etc. (Informal Stage 1 of the complaint procedure).
