Staff working with international students need to be aware of some recent changes introduced by the UK Border Agency
In response to this, a presentation has been created to explain the current UKBA regulations that we must all work within and how these impact on international students.
The session will consist of presentations from Gill Broadhurst on international recruitment, Claire Breen on enrolment, monitoring/reporting, visa extensions and progression, Wayne Turnbull on progression and UMF regulations and Caroline O’Rourke on welfare support. Scenarios will be provided and there will then be a question and answer session.
The presentations will take place on Monday 1 March at 2.00pm in the medium lecture theatre, Henry Cotton building and Thursday 4th March at 10.00am in lecture room 1, Art & Design Academy.
