LJMU hosts Liverpool Universities Pub Quiz

24 April 2012

Liverpool John Moores University alumni, staff and friends recently gathered at The Engine Room in LiverpoolSU's Haigh building for the latest bi-annual pub quiz against the University of Liverpool.

Around 120 people attended and with the aggregate score of LJMU trailing 2-1, the quiz was a keenly fought affair in a lively, yet friendly atmosphere.

After two hours of conferring, debating and head scratching, the overall winners came from the University of Liverpool with the team 'John Hylton Was Here' coming out on top with an impressive score of 61.5 out of 70.
