28 July 2008Success for Modern Pentathlon athlete
Modern Pentathlon athlete and sports scholar Nicola Rowley graduated in BSc (Hons) Sports Science on Friday 25 July.
Nicola said the LJMU sports scholarship scheme had greatly contributed to her success both professionally and academically, commenting: "Coming to LJMU opened up a lot of opportunities for me. I've met lots of different people in various high class sports, as well as other sports scholars. The scholarship has been great; it's helped me balance academic and sports achievements."
Having received a 2.1 in her degree she is returning to LJMU in September to do a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology.
