Effective practice in assessment - changes to the 'blue book' - what do I need to know?
An assessment workshop entitled 'Effective Practice in Assessment - Changes to the 'Blue Book' - what do I need to know?" will be held on Tuesday, 3rd February 2009 10.00 am-12.00 noon. The venue will be confirmed nearer the time. Pat Eastwood from the Learning Development Unit will facilitiate the workshop which aims to update programme teams about the revised 'blue book'.
Intended Learning Outcomes
- To raise awareness of the two new assessment principles
- To raise awareness of the other revisions to the blue book such as the two pilot projects on anonymous coursework marking and feedback on examinations
- To provide ideas for programme teams to consider when implementing the new principles
The session will be a mixture of presentation, activities and discussion.
