First Line Management Programme

Staff are invited to attend development sessions for current and aspiring managers.

The First Line Management Programme is available to all staff members within LJMU, including both current and aspiring managers and team leaders. It aims to equip individuals with the practical, day-to-day skills that are required within the role of the manager, as well as giving specific guidance on LJMU practices and procedures, and is delivered in a flexible, modular-based format.

Participants also have the opportunity to earn a Level 3 Diploma from the Institute of Leadership and Management, or can simply gain certification for each sessions they attend. The programme begins on 28 January 2009.
