High level Thai delegation visit LJMU to talk about long standing partnership links.

The Thai Ambassador to the UK, Kitti Wasinonth, and a delegation from the Royal Thai Embassy visited LJMU this week.
LJMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Brown welcomed the delegation to the university and gave a short presentation on our achievements of over the past five years and aspirations for the future. He also commented on our long standing association with Thailand and its universities.
Professor Tony Whalley, a Professor of Mycology at LJMU, briefly discussed existing Thai links, students and their activities. A round table discussion followed with comments and suggestions from two current Thai PhD students, Dr Dorn Watthanakulpanich and Miss Thanawan Tejangkura.
