A new staff system is coming

This summer, LJMU is making the big switchover – staff and finance systems are going web – and the countdown has begun. The first system to go live will be for staff.

In June, a completely new staff service is being introduced for all staff at LJMU which will make it easier to access, and interact with, your personal details and the benefits related to being an employee of the University. 

LJMU is a cutting edge organisation, we have one of the most advanced IT systems in the country and now, with advanced web capability, the staff and finance systems are being brought right up to date to provide the most efficient service for everyone working at LJMU.

If you are used to ordering your books, travel, shopping and entertainment via the web or organising your banking and bills on-line, you will be familiar with the type of system that will shortly be available for your staff details and for those who deal with finance.

No longer will staff have to fill in forms for travel expenses and overtime, sign in triplicate to change details or seek written authorisation to apply for loans and benefits. The new staff data self service website puts everything in one place so you can view all of your personal details and staff benefits whenever you want.

The new system will go live at the beginning of June and all that you are asked to do now is to check your current details as they appear on S3 so that when all of the information is moved to the new system it will be accurate and up to date.

Reminders will be sent out in the next few weeks, alongside more information about what you can expect from the new system.
