Students and recent graduates from LJMU are invited to apply for a place on the Flying Start Programme, a three-day course designed to prepare participants for a new venture or self employment.
The course will concentrate on key topics of business development such as marketing, finance and business communication and introduce participants to a Flying Start mentor who will provide email support for up to a year. There will also be the chance to meet and network with fellow entrepreneurs and find out about relevant programmes and services at LJMU.
The course will be held at the LJMU Dean Walters Campus, Upper Duke St L1 7BT from Monday 18 May to Wednesday 20 May. Food and refreshments will be provided.
To apply for the course applicants must:
• Have a business idea for self employment, business start or social enterprise
• Be a student or recent graduate (5 years or less)
