Good Citizenship Awards
22 May 2009
Teenagers from across the North West have been recognised by LJMU for their contributions to home and school life.
Each year LJMU's Foundation for Citizenship presents Good Citizenship Awards to pupils studying at over 1,000 schools in the region. The awards recognise the often overlooked contributions young people make to society.
Eight sixth form students, their teachers and families were recently invited into the University to receive the awards. They were Emma Rosenthal from Birkenhead Sixth Form College, Stacey Griffiths from Carmel College, Paul Williams from King George V College, Craig Robinson from Knowsley Community College, Wahib Ahmed from Liverpool Community College, Gary Martin from St Helens College, Lucy Price from Wirral Metropolitan College and Alex Grosart from Southport College.
