More successes for LJMU staff in Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2009.

Kerry Wilson, lecturer in Cultural Leadership in Liverpool School of Art and Design, has received two Outstanding Paper awards in this year’s Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence.

Kerry’s papers, entitled ‘Developing public library managers as leaders: Evaluation of a national leadership development programme’ and ‘The public library, exclusion and empathy: a literature review’, published in Library Management and Library Review respectively, were judged to be each journal’s Outstanding Paper in 2008 by Emerald Editorial Teams.

The Cultural Leadership team has a strong research portfolio in the arts, culture and heritage sectors and this is a great accolade for them as they continue to build their research and teaching programmes, which include the MA Cultural Leadership and various CPD opportunities.
