Title: Defining the role of the mitochondrion and oxidative stress in the chemical and molecular mechanisms of drug-induced cell death.
The MRC CDSS undertake fundamental clinical and basic research into the causes, characteristics and consequences of adverse drug reactions (ADRs). 
Amy’s research focus is safe drug design of anti-malarials and she has published extensively on understanding the mechanisms of action of novel anti-malarial compounds.
