Providing information about health
Pharmacists are encouraged to provide information and services to the general public which aim to lead to health improvements. Ongoing work includes studies examining the role that the public perceive pharmacists to have in providing information about health in general and the services provided by pharmacists, in particular weight management services. The teaching of public health in the undergraduate pharmacy course is also a subject of ongoing study.
