Combining Work & Family Life The research is an Objective 3, ESF funded project, focusing upon women's lack of progression within the labour market, recognising that a key factor contributing to this is their position as principal carers in the home. The main aim of the research is to explore the impact of government measures which have been put in place to address this issue, with a particular focus upon initiatives promoting flexible working practices.
