Awards and Replacement Certificates
Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) was granted degree awarding powers in 1992 and as a result we are only able to process award related queries were the award was granted after September 1992. Details of obtaining awards prior to September 1992 are given lower down the page.
DISPATCH OF CURRENT AWARD DOCUMENTATION
Students Award certificates and associated documentation are issued following the Programme Assessment Board (PAB). All documents are sent by Registered or Recorded Royal Mail post. If a student has not received their certificate after 3 months then please email your details to awards@ljmu.ac.uk, as it may have been to returned to LJMU by Royal Mail.
N.B. Award Certificates for June and July PAB’s will not be issued until the following September and October.

Nurse training/Social Work/Youth & Community transcripts
Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences can provide formal Transcript of Training documents showing placement and theory hours in relation to those areas of training requiring professional registration to overseas organisations, if required by them to verify equilavence of qualifications (Nursing and Midwifery and Social Work). AWARDS OBTAINED PRE SEPTEMBER 1992
FOR STUDENTS OF LIVERPOOL POLYTECHNIC – AWARDS ISSUED BY CNAA
Following the abolition of the Council for National Academic Awards (CNAA) in 1992, Liverpool John Moores University no longer holds the qualification records for any graduates who completed their degree prior to the academic year 1992/93. Any undergraduate or postgraduates prior to this date who require a duplicate or replacement certificate should now contact the Open University Validation Services (OUVS)
EDEXCEL CERTIFICATES (PRE JANUARY 1984 ONLY)
Any graduates who received who received ONC, OND, HNC or HND in Business Studies/Public Administration prior to January 1984 must contact the awarding body, Edexcel, for duplicate or replacement certificates via their application form.
