Introduction
This handbook is intended as a guide to LJMU policy and recommendations for good practice in the management and administration of the assessment process.
An assessment is any examination paper, oral examination, project, dissertation or other assignment by means of which the performance of a student is examined and a mark or grade is attributed to the work.
The topics included are not exhaustive and should be considered in conjunction with other University sources of information including, the most recent iteration of the Academic Framework.
