Student Welfare Services

Welfare Advice Home Page

The Welfare Advice Service is available to assist students with any problems they may experience whilst at University.

The aim of the service is to provide appropriate, confidential and effective advice to students to aid in the resolution process. Staff within the team have many years' experience of dealing with a whole range of problems, large and small so please contact us should the need arise.  As part of the resolution process students must also take responsibility for their part in this process.

We will endeavor to provide practical assistance where possible. However, positive referral advice will also be given where necessary, either to other departments within LJMU or to outside agencies.

Specialist advice is also available to students with financial difficulties, international students and to those students with disabilities. Staff are available throughout the academic year and can be found at the Student Support Zones around the University.
