Topping up your ViP using the cash loading machines
Located across the university
Cash loading machines allow users to quickly add additional credit to the Virtual Purse account. Located in each of the LRCs, and at a number of other sites across the university, add credit to your account by:
- Tapping your university card on the card reader
- Add the amount of credit required.
- Press Stop
The minimum amount of credit that can be applied is 20p - the maximum balance is £50.
Cash loading machines will accept both coins and notes. Full details on how to use the machines are attached to them.
Please note that any balance left at the end of your studies is non refundable
